We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming art show, FRIDA's Friday, taking place on Friday 20 September 2024, from 19.00 to 21.00 at FRIDA Book Café, Enschede. This event is open to everyone, and we would be honored by your presence.

Program:

- 9.15- Opening with a welcome speech by Gemma Boon, owner of FRIDA.

- 19.30- Artist talk with featured young talent Marijntje Roos Hijgenaar, a recent graduate of AKI Artez Art School.

- 19.45- Opening of the art show featuring the graduation artworks of Marijntje Roos Hijgenaar.

- 20.00 - Guitar music by Just Hehenkamp, singer songwriter

- 20.30 - Meet and greet with the artist, mingle and network.

This evening promises to be an enriching experience filled with art, music, and meaningful connections. We look forward to celebrating the vibrant talent of Marijntje Roos Hijgenaar and enjoying an inspiring night with you.

Warm up with our signature Pumpkin Spice Lattes or indulge in our new autumn favorite: Hot Chocolate with an Orange Twist—a unique treat that captures the cozy and zesty flavors of the season.

Monthly Event for Gifted Adults at FRIDA Book Café

Join us for our monthly event exclusively for gifted adults, held on the last Sunday of each month at 3:00 PM at FRIDA Book Café in Enschede! These inspiring gatherings offer a unique opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals on profound and captivating topics in a relaxed atmosphere. The language of discussion is flexible, either Dutch or English, depending on the participants.

This month, we dive into the theme "Imagination and Creativity: How Books Stimulate and Inspire Our Minds."We'll explore how literature sparks our imagination, inspires us, and helps us discover new worlds. Whether you're an avid reader, enjoy writing, or simply crave a stimulating conversation, join us for an afternoon filled with insights and inspiration.
