FRIDA’s Christmas Book Exchange
Get ready for a magical evening of holiday cheer, cozy moments, and bookish surprises at our Christmas Book Exchange!
On this festive Friday night, bring a gently used English book, wrap it up in your favorite holiday paper, and swap it with another guest’s mystery read. It’s the perfect way to discover a new story while sharing one of your own favorites! Everyone leaves with a new literary treasure and a warm holiday glow.
But that’s not all—this evening is also about giving back. We’re collecting book donations for a local high school, and these can be in English, French, German, or Dutch. So feel free to bring an extra book in any of those languages for young readers to enjoy. And to keep the spirit of generosity going, we’ll also be raising funds for our FRIDA Book Shop Fund to help us continue organizing these magical community events. Participation is free, but any donations are greatly appreciated!
Of course, no holiday gathering would be complete without delicious treats! We’ll be serving up steaming mugs of hot chocolate and plenty of Christmas goodies to keep the festive spirit alive while you mingle, exchange books, and enjoy the warmth of the season.
