Even as they take up new lives and identities, Nox and Amaris never forget one thing: they will stop at nothing to reunite. But the threat of war looms overhead, and the two are inevitably swept into a conflict between human and fae, magic and mundane. With strange new alliances, untested powers, and a bond that neither time nor distance could possibly break, the fate of the realms lies in the hands of two orphans — and the love they hold for one another.
This book was recommended by Demi. It was recommended as a book on how to start reading fantasy. This is 100% true! The story about Nox and Amaris growing up in an orphanage and not knowing anything about magic or demons or fea is helping the person reading it. Together with Amaris you learn about gifts and fea. Nox learns everything about the creatures of the night.
Tip van Day!
If a book starts with a map, I know the book will be amazing. I read this book in less than three days, it just grabbed me and never let go. By the time I finished the book I was even mad that I hadn’t bought the next book in the series at the same time I bought the first. I HAD TO WAIT TWO WHOLE WEEKS! Another great thing about this book is that it is absolutely and totally queer! If you need a new book to obsess about or a new genre to start reading. This is your chance!
