Fibro Sharing Circle @FRIDA
For the tired, the wired, and the “but you don’t look sick” crowd. May is Fibromyalgia Awareness Month, so let’s talk.
Fibromyalgia.
The diagnosis that comes with a free lifetime supply of:
– “Have you tried yoga?”
– “Maybe it’s just stress?”
– “But you’re so young…”
Yeah. We know. And your host, FRIDA founder Gemma knows. She has been suffering from fibro since 1998, or so it feels.
This is not a space where you have to explain yourself.
This is not a space for partners, doctors, or unsolicited advice.
This is for us.
On Saturday morning, we’re hosting a gathering for people living with fibromyalgia. To share stories, frustrations, dark humor, small wins, and everything in between.
Because living with a chronic illness in your 20s, 30s or 40s is a very specific kind of chaos.
And you shouldn’t have to carry it alone.
💬 Talk about the things no one gets
🔥 Gently rage about the system (optional, but encouraged)
🫶 Find recognition without having to justify your existence
Whether you feel like speaking up or just listening - you’re welcome.
Saturday 2 May 2026
11:00 - Doors open (arrive in your own tempo)
11:15 - Start
12:45 - End
🎟️ Tickets: €5. Group limited to 10 people. No refunds possible.
Come as you are. Brain fog, pain, sarcasm and all.
At FRIDA, we believe your story deserves space: especially the messy, complicated ones.
