On this special Saturday, bring a book that has touched your heart or sparked your imagination. Please wrap it in festive paper and get ready to swap it with another guest’s cherished read. It’s a beautiful way to pass on the stories that have shaped us, and everyone leaves with a new book to treasure.

This anniversary isn’t just about swapping stories; it’s about strengthening our community ties. We’re also collecting book donations for a local library. Feel free to bring along an extra book in English, French, German, or Dutch to support local readers. Additionally, we’ll be raising funds to ensure more enriching events in the future.

What’s a celebration without some delightful treats? Enjoy a complimentary welcome drink and homemade anniversary cupcakes while you mingle, swap books, and relish in the collective joy of our book-loving community.

Where: FRIDA Book Café, Enschede

Cost: €12,50 per person, including a welcome drink (Donations to our FRIDA Book Shop Fund are warmly welcomed.) OR use our FRIENDS deal: two tickets for only €17,50! 

What to bring: A gently used, wrapped book to exchange. Consider bringing an extra book to donate if possible.
