Lina's Lines x FRIDA: Little Joy Workshop
📅 Thursday June 18
⏰ 17:30 – 19:30
📍 FRIDA Book Café, Enschede
Join us for the third edition of our monthly Little Joy workshop at Frida book cafe! This time, we are diving into the art of Kumihimo, the traditional Japanese craft of thread weaving.
The repetitive rhythm of Kumihimo is incredibly easy and meditative. You will create a beautiful piece that can be used as a charm, a bracelet, or a unique key-chain. We will learn the basics together, and you get to keep the loom and threads to continue your practice at home. As always, all materials are fully provided!
Guided by Lina, a multidisciplinary artist with a passion of making all kinds of things: bookbinding, embroidery, ceramics, illustration - you name it! It is about craftsmanship and embracing slow, intentional living. Her goal is to welcome more people into this world and creating new projects together.
💶 €5 p.p. (includes your first tea of choice and all the supplies)
✅ Sign-up required
❌ No refunds possible (thanks for understanding!)
Hosted at FRIDA Book Café, a social enterprise that nurtures creativity, inclusion, and local talent, this event supports meaningful connections through literature, art, and shared experiences. FRIDA is more than a café—it's a space for co-creation, social impact, and artistic expression, where every page turned is an opportunity to grow together.
